Terri White is Editor-in-Chief of Bauer Media’s flagship film and entertainment brand, Empire and their cinematic TV brand, Pilot TV, launched X. White is an award-winning editor with nineteen years’ experience working for publishing companies on both sides of the Atlantic. She joined Bauer from Time Out North America, where she was Editor-in-Chief of Time Out New York and Time Out Chicago, overseeing editorial direction and content across all platforms. Previously, White was Editor of men’s freemium title ShortList. White is also a writer, having been published in Grazia, Q, Red, Elle, The Pool, Hole & Corner, The Guardian and The Observer magazine. She contributed to ‘My Old Man’, a book of essays on fathers, published by Canongate in 2016 and has just published ‘Coming Undone, A Memoir’ also published by Canongate (July 2020). White is the current Entertainment Magazine Editor of the Year (British Society of Magazine Editors), was named one of the 150 Female Leaders redefining the creative industries by The Dots in 2017, BSME Entertainment Editor of the Year (Highly Commended) in 2016, was named one of Folio’s Top Women in US Media in 2015 and BSME’s Men’s Magazine of the Year in 2010. White has spoken at media conferences around the world, including Social Media Week New York; the Magazine Design Conference in Oslo; The Modern Magazine conference in London, Magfest in Edinburgh and Ad Week Europe, for which she conducted live interviews with Former Vice President Al Gore, actors Stanley Tucci and Richard E Grant and director Edgar Wright. She is also a broadcaster, regularly appearing on Radio 4, Talk Radio, BBC London, Sky News, BBC News, ITV News, LBC and is co-host of the Pilot TV Podcast.

Barry McIlheney is the former CEO of the PPA, the industry body for all UK magazine media. He is also the former Editor and Publisher of such iconic brands as Smash Hits, Q, Empire, Elle, and The Face. He sits on the boards of the European Magazine Media Association and FIPP, the global media network. In 2018 he was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award by the magazine industry in his native Ireland.

Laura Kelly Dunlop is a journalist and the Director of the Edinburgh International Magazine Festival, as well as running PPA Scotland. She has contributed interviews, features, commentary, news and reviews to The Big Issue, The Herald, BBC Northern Ireland, The Skinny and street papers around the world. Her regular column for Holyrood magazine saw her named as 2019 Columnist of the Year at the Words by Women Awards.

She has previously been the Arts and Features Editor for The Big Issue, and Editorial and Communications Manager for INSP (International Network of Street Papers), where she managed a news service that went to more than 120 global street papers. Her favourite interviewing moment was explaining the Higgs Boson to David Attenborough.
